Building Sustainable Neighborhood Economies

Collaborators

Collaborators view IW’s model as a unique strategy for Baltimore. IW’s approach, from the beginning, has been to build a social enterprise platform that the majority of community partners and non-profit organizations would view as a value-added partner rather than a competitor. IW aims to invest in solutions where gaps currently exist, thereby strategically bringing additional resources to its collaborators and community anchor partners.

Why collaborate with IW?

Collaboration is essential to the success of the IW model. It leads to significant network effects across Baltimore. IW works intentionally to bridge resources across multiple stakeholder groups such as community partners, talent development institutions, investors, and innovation accelerators. IW invests in and provides access to necessary tools and resources through a culture of collaboration that accelerates economic justice for Baltimore’s underinvested neighborhoods.
